Sometimes it is nice to step out of your comfort zone!

Well I must say life has been full of many changes lately.  A new state, a new job, and a new grade level.  Although I have taught for several years, I have happily lived in the world of "little people" for a long time.  This year I have embarked on a new journey... fifth grade. 
 I must admit, I was a bit nervous!  Who knew it would be the start of a beautiful thing (well, the principal may say she knew since she decided to put me here).  
Either way, I am grateful for the opportunity and new experiences.  I am so excited to see what the students and I will accomplish together this year.  Although we have only been in school for five weeks I am so proud of the growth we have all already shown.  THIS IS GONNA BE AN AWESOME YEAR!!!
